Light Novel 'Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life' Gets TV Anime

The GA Fes 2021 event announced a television anime adaptation of Shotou Shinkou's Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life: Dai-2 no Shokugyou wo Ete, Sekai Saikyou ni Narimashita (Life as a Reincarnated Sage in Another World: Gaining a Second Profession and Becoming the Strongest in the World) light novel on Sunday.

The television anime is being produced by animation studio Revoroot (FLCL Alternative, Babylon). Pony Canyon is producing the music.

Synopsis
Yuuji Sano, a black company employee, is summoned to another world while finishing his work at home. His profession in the other world, a Monster Tamer, is considered a job that makes it difficult to become an adventurer. However, thanks to some slimes he met, which read several magical books, he gained magical powers and a second profession, Sage.

Yuuji acquired overwhelming power, but is he conscious of his strength? Blindly becoming unparalleled and strongest in the world! (Source: MU, edited)

Shinkou originally launched the adventure fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2017. SB Creative began publishing the novel with illustrations by Huuka Kazabana through its GA Novel imprint in May 2018. The seventh volume shipped on November 12 last year, with the eighth volume scheduled for a March 12 release.

Jea Pon (Jikan no Shihaisha) began drawing a manga adaptation in Manga UP! web magazine in July 2018. Square Enix released the tenth volume last November.
